Revisiting: New GYOZAs in OSAKA OHSHO

OSAKA OHSHO is a place to get your gyoza fix on and thankfully the guys behind Wee Nam Kee brought in this popular Japanese Brand earlier this year.
I have been to this popular gyoza restaurant a couple of times in SM MEGAMALL FASHION HALL. I was lucky to try and checkout my old favorites along with 2 new flavors for their Gyozas.

Variety is a good thing but of course, the old favorites are still a treat to have.
Start of with their OSAKA OHSHO SALAD (195/330Php)
If you don't like the fresh veggies, move them on over and do what I do. eat the nuts, mangoes and kani.

Another starter would be the AGEDASHI TOFU (188Php)
I loved the flakes on top that I couldn't stop munching on the smokey flavor.

Definitely an old school favorite of mine would be their BLACK VINEGAR CHICKEN (325Php)
Sort of like a sweet and sour dish, this is similar but different in the way that the taste offers a little zing at the ends.

Now, let's move on to the new flavored gyoza.

If you love cheese gyoza, you would  definitely enjoy the BACON AND CHEESE GYOZA (190/380Php)
Adding the bacon bits makes the dish go full circle. The bacon compliments the cheese and helps this make it my new favorite Gyoza dish. More Please!

The other "new" gyoza is this one: PEANUT BUTTER & BANANA DESSERT GYOZA with VANILLA ICE CREAM (210Php)
Checking out this dessert gyoza, you could see the fillings aren't pork or any other minced meat. Rather, it has JIF Crunchy Peanut Butter and slices of banana. I liked how the Peanut butter made the texture less fluid. It had a bite in it so I enjoyed this.
I believe the only thing that made this a gyoza would be the same wrapper and wrapping technique was used to make it.

Having old and new favorites from the menu would make any tummy happy. I am thankful that after trying out the new FLAVORED GYOZAS in OSAKA OHSHO, they are now added to my favorite list. I can't wait for them to have more varieties.

    1. Good Morning I mean.. afternoon Roch, the dessert gyoza itself was on the warm side. I believe it went through the same cooking process as a normal gyoza. So when you add the ice cream, it pretty much melt. Sarap niya.. Sugar over load though!
